Attention Deficit Disorder

One of the simplest ways to see if you think your child may suffer with problems with attention, or attention deficit disorder, is to review Kathleen Nadeau's book, Slow Down and Pay Attention, with your child.  It is definitely a book for kids (and adults too!). It has a lot of kid-friendly illustrations and suggestions as to to how to handle attentional difficulties and disorganisation in day to day life.

For Parenting children with ADHD, I like Sandra Rief's The ADD Book of Lists

and Colleen Alexander Roberts' The AD/HD Parenting Book

For Children with Executive Functioning Problems, try
Joyce Kahn-Cooper's book
Late, Lost and Unprepared
